By the summer of 2006 I will have led 50 ascents of Kilimanjaro. I have developed an approach that has, in general, meant that my guests’ experience of Africa's highest mountain, or any other of the Rift Valley volcanoes such as Mount Meru, has been more than just a summit bound trek.

There are three main options for a mountain trek here in Northern Tanzania - Kilimanjaro, Meru or Ol Donyo Lengai. Additionally there are options for new and untried treks of some of the lesser known Rift Valley volcanoes.
